Why pay more? Affordable does not mean low-quality.
Honeycroft is a registered charity that does not make a profit or pay directors. Instead, we are managed by our trustees who volunteer their time to oversee the running of Honeycroft. Honeycroft prides itself on our transparent and clear pricing structure that enables families to use all of their funded hours between 8am and 6pm, spread over all of the days and weeks we are open.
Although the funded hours are advertised as either ’15′ or ’30 free hours’ – the actual calculation works out as 15 or 30 hours during term time only (38 weeks of the year). As Honeycroft is open 47.5 weeks we spread these hours to cover the days & weeks we are open, resulting in an allocation of either 12 or 24 hours per week for 47.5 weeks (12hrs x 47.5 wks. = 570hrs or 24hrs x 47.5 wks. = 1140hrs).
We do not restrict the number of funded places we offer and eligible families can choose ONE of the following options, depending on availability:
15HRS funded (up to 570 hrs) Options – 12hrs per week for 47.5 wks
- 2 x 6 hour days (9am to 3pm) – £3.00 daily voluntary charge requested towards the cost of food provided,
- 2 x AM sessions (9am to 12pm) & 2 x PM sessions (1pm to 4pm) – there is no charge requested for these sessions
30HRS funded (up to 1140 hrs) Option – 24hrs per week for 47.5 wks
- 4 x 6 hour days (9am to 3pm) – £3.00 daily voluntary charge requested towards the cost of food provided,
- 3 x 8 hour days (3 x 8am to 4pm OR 9am to 5pm) – £3.00 daily voluntary charge requested towards the cost of food provided,
- 1 x 4 hour days (8am to 12pm) & 4 x 5 hour days (1pm to 6pm) – there is no charge requested for these sessions
Any additional hours required outside of the funded hours offered are charged at our hourly rate, as shown in the table below. Any increases to these charges will be made with a minimum of half a term / six weeks notice period.
A note about the voluntary charge towards the cost of food at Honeycroft.
Please note, a minimum of 4 weeks written notice is required to cancel a place, funded or paying, however changes to booked sessions can be made for the next invoicing period. All changes to booked hours are dependent on availability.
There is no deposit, registration fee or up front payment required. Invoices are emailed at the start of each calendar month and should be paid by the 27th of the same month as no outstanding fees are permitted.
